Comporta & Lisbon 2027
The Horizon of Excellence
Your journey to the soul of Portugal begins here.
Join your executive hosts for the annual [Corporate Client Name] Leadership Convention.
This year's celebration takes place along the wild coastlines and historic avenues of Comporta and Lisbon,
Portugal, from 21 – 26 May 2027.

Where Minimalist Coastal Elegance Meets Authentic Heritage.
Comporta is the hidden jewel of the Atlantic, an untouched sanctuary where minimalist coastal elegance meets authentic heritage. Here, white-washed cabanas sit tucked between sweeping emerald rice fields, long-legged storks nest above old thatch roofs, and golden dunes roll down into a crisp blue ocean.
By day, the landscape offers peaceful mindfulness and sun-drenched coastal paths. By night, it transforms into an exclusive social gathering filled with fine regional wines, fresh Atlantic cuisine, and memory-making storytelling under the stars.

Your physical passport is your gateway to Europe. Verify the exact requirements below with your booklet in hand.
Scans must be uploaded to your secure profile before Friday, 2 April 2027.
Validity Window: Passports must be valid for at least six months after your scheduled return to the United Kingdom (minimum validity until 27 November 2027).
Digital Capture: High-resolution colour scans of your primary photo page must be uploaded during registration.

Physical Condition: Your document must be in excellent physical condition. Torn pages, loose laminate, or water damage will result in immediate rejection by border control officials at London hubs or Lisbon immigration.

Dual-passport holders or foreign nationals residing in the UK must ensure their biometric residence permits (BRP) or settled-status digital shares are up to date.
Visa Information
Because this program departs from the UK, entry requirements vary based on the passport you hold. Please review the guidelines below to ensure your travel clearance is secured well before departure.
British citizens travelling to Portugal for a short-term incentive stay do not require a traditional paper or sticker visa.
You will be required to hold a valid ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) link before boarding. This is a quick online registration linked digitally to your passport. Symbiometry will send a direct tracking link and guide you through the process as the departure window opens.
If you hold a passport that requires a Schengen Visa for entry into the European Union, you must apply for a short-stay Schengen Visa (Type C) before departure.
Consular Application Centre: Applications must be submitted in person at the VFS Global Visa Application Centre for Portugal in London (located at Alpine House, 210H Harp Business Park, London NW9 0AQ).
Symbiometry Concierge Support: Symbiometry will secure your appointment block and compile your required corporate travel documents, including your confirmed return flight tickets, multi-day group itinerary, luxury hotel vouchers, and a Corporate Sponsorship Letter confirming that [Corporate Client Name] is covering 100% of your hospitality, meals, and travel costs.
Personal Requirements: You will only need to supply your recent original UK bank statements (showing sufficient funding) and your certified UK employment letter.

Lifestyle Guide
Prepare for local seasonal rhythms. Our coordinators have curated currency, time, linguistic, and packaging guidelines to prepare you for early European summer.
During late May, the Alentejo and Lisbon coastlines offer exceptional early-summer weather. Expect average daily highs of 23°C and comfortable evening lows around 14°C.
The official language is Portuguese. English is widely used and spoken across all premium hotels, beach clubs, and historical sites throughout the region.
The official currency is the Euro (€). We highly recommend carrying a small amount of cash for local artisan markets, roadside cafés, or gratuities. We recommend withdrawing Euros directly from a local bank ATM upon arrival.
Please notify your bank and credit card issuers of your specific travel dates in Portugal before departure to prevent automated security systems from temporarily locking your cards abroad.
Portugal operates on Western European Summer Time (WEST) during May, placing it one hour ahead of the United Kingdom.
Ensure proper comfort. Packing guidelines are parsed by destination activities.
Pack lightweight, breathable pieces such as tailored linen shirts, cotton shorts, and comfortable, summery dresses.
Evenings on the coast can be breezy; carry a lightweight knit sweater, tailored jacket, or chic cardigan.
Bring sturdy, comfortable walking shoes for Lisbon’s historic cobblestone hills, along with premium swimwear and sun protection (UV lotion, sunglasses, and wide-brimmed hats).
Pack refined, elegant evening resort wear for our formal gatherings and private dinners.
We recommend keeping a cosy travel jacket in your cabin bag for the flights.
If you take prescription medications, bring an adequate supply in your carry-on luggage, along with a doctor’s note written in English detailing your prescriptions.
